Lauren Plaid
This cape is an early-eighties multi-colored grid on white print called Lauren plaid. In honor of my amazing sister, Lauren, this fabric was combined with a heavy canvas lining to create the Lauren cape. A matching canvas mod, oval tab closure with a bright red button closure.
An original Enderby Design for my clothing line MOD. Mod capes are made from vintage, recycled fabric that has been carefully selected and made into a fresh, new look. With feminine darts, Peter Pan collars and a mod oval closure tab with a button to secure the cape. Constructed with precision and finished French seams, each cape was made with care.
These capes are inspired by retro fashion from the sixties and seventies. Lined with a comfortable and complimentary vintage fabric, these capes have slits for easy usage of your arms, or you can keep them warm by keeping them inside. Two layers of fusible interfacing were sewn in the collar for extra durability.
